RANDOM THOUGHTS: ABOUT ME

Pin It Now! When I turned 30, (YIKES!), I wrote a list of random things about myself and have updated it the past few years adding one new thing each year. I had a HARD time with embracing 30! This helped me focus on other things besides getting OLD!

I found this note on my Facebook and after reading through it, I thought...."Hmmm! I havn't really changed much!" 

It's kind of a bitter-sweet moment.

I personally feel like it is a very good thing to aspire to grow and change. Maybe I have changed a little (other than in my pants size).  I have found that it is important to say "No" when you have stretched yourself to the limit.  I have found a new love for blogging.  I have also found so much more value in family! Maybe that is because I am getting older! Who knows, but I am aching to the core to be a stay at home mom again...ACHING!

So ANYWHO...Just some random thoughts about me for those interested in getting to know this goofy, random, cajun girl-Nelly!

1.

I am slightly addicted to Dove Chocolate and Peanut M&M's...

I am a singer/songwriter but totally not an instrument player...I play some piano...I wish I could play the bass...

3.

I am not a clerically minded person at all...but yet I work as a Paralegal...

Weird, I know...But it keeps me balanced...

I am so NOT a phone person at all...Text over Talk (I know, faux pas!)...

5.

I am obsessed with HGTV...and watching the movie "ELF"...

I spend too much money during Crawfish season...

7.

King Cakes are God's gift to the South...

I adore my children and all of their quirky little moments,

and think EVERYONE should love them...

My husband is amazing...even though sometimes I forget that...

I dream of touring Europe one day....and living in New York for just a season...

 I am waaaay to extreme when it comes to my emotions...

I have a secret desire to one day play a disney princess at Disney world...heehee...

Life is too short to hold grudges....

There is never enough time in the day to do everything that I have to do....

I love love love my friends....

I am really good at keeping secrets...

Photography is something I stumbled upon and never thought I would pursue...

I could drink coffee anytime...anywhere...of any type...

EXCEPT if it is more than 30 minutes old...

I can't stand complaining....

My love language is words of affirmation and gifts/thoughtfulness...

My husband and I never had a honeymoon:(

My greatest passion in the world is interior decor and want to be able to design a brand new home from the ground up for my family with no cost limits....

HEY! A GIRL CAN DREAM...

My greatest desire in the world is to be as close to God as humanly possible....

My greatest hope is to see my entire family living in the blessing God!

My greatest dream is to do what I am passionate about AND GET PAID FOR IT...

Mexican food holds a very special place in my heart...

I admire dancers and will take dance classes one day...

Most people think social media is addictive, but I think it is an amazing tool for commication and a cure for utter boredom at work...

I actually DO like watching UFC fights and dont just pretend that I like it to impress my husband...lol

I run like a girl and I am okay with that...

I am finally ok with being thirty-something...finally!...

32.

 I am ok with saying "NO! I can't do it..." That's always been a tough one!
